It may look small but it can filter a minimum of 1000 liters thanks to its 3-stage filtration technology. Weighing less than one ounce and only 5.4 inches long, this pen-like design makes it easy and portable for you to take anywhere.

The 3-stage filtration process consists of filter cotton, an activated carbon pre-filter, and 0.1-micron hollow fiber membrane. Not only does the filtration process take care of 99.9999% of waterborne bacteria and 99.99% of waterborne protozoan parasites, it also removes some heavy metals and improves the taste of your water.

To use Aquaway Pen, uncap both ends and insert the bottom end into a water source, wait a few moments for water to soak up into the membranes, and then suck the water through. When you’re finished, blow back the water to keep the filter membranes clean.

The Aquaway Pen has 2 backup replaceable pre-filters to extend its lifespan. To replace the pre-filter, simply pull out the pre-filter and clip the new one onto it. The pre-filter blocks particulate matter before it gets to the hollow fiber membrane. This helps protect the membrane from getting blocked and losing its functionality, especially if you have to consistently filter muddy water.
